Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Welcome to eBook Creator. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ebook.digitoly.com , including its ebook creation, conversion, preview, and download features (collectively, the "Service").
The Service is operated by ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using the Service.
1. Description of the Service
eBook Creator is an online tool designed to help users transform supported documents, including Word files, PDF files, and text files, into ebook formats using available conversion tools and templates.
Depending on the features available, the Service may allow you to preview content, export text files, and generate ebook files in formats such as EPUB, Markdown, and PDF.
We make reasonable efforts to provide reliable conversions. However, output quality may vary depending on the source document, its formatting, embedded elements, fonts, images, document structure, and other technical factors. We do not guarantee that every conversion will be complete, error-free, or identical to the original document.
You are responsible for reviewing generated files before publishing, distributing, selling, or otherwise using them.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account and to update it when necessary.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities conducted through your account, except to the extent that such responsibility cannot lawfully be imposed on you. You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You must not impersonate another person, provide misleading registration information, or use another person's account without proper authorization.
3. Free Features and Paid Services
Certain features of eBook Creator, including reading, previewing, and TXT export, may be available without payment. Other conversion features require payment. The features available to you may depend on the current service offering.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, each paid conversion costs USD 10 or the applicable amount displayed at the time of purchase. A paid conversion includes the generation of EPUB, Markdown, and PDF output files for one book, subject to the available features and applicable technical limitations.
The final price, currency, applicable taxes, and other charges, if any, will be displayed during checkout where applicable. You are responsible for reviewing the order details before completing payment.
4. Payments and Conversion Credits
Payments are processed through Razorpay or another payment method that we may make available. Payment processing may be subject to the payment provider's terms, conditions, and privacy policy.
After a successful payment has been confirmed, one conversion credit will be added to your account according to our payment-processing procedures. The credit may be used to generate the files included in the purchased conversion.
Credits are intended for use within eBook Creator. They may not be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash, or used outside the Service unless we expressly authorize otherwise.
You must not attempt to manipulate payment confirmations, duplicate credits, exploit payment processing errors, or obtain paid features without authorization.
We may change our prices or paid feature offerings from time to time. Price changes will not alter the price of a completed purchase retroactively. Any existing credits will remain subject to the applicable terms of purchase and any changes permitted by law.
5. Refunds and Payment Disputes
Refund requests are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
If a payment is completed but the purchased service is not delivered, or if you experience a billing error, please contact us with the relevant transaction details so that we can investigate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a refund, remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
6. Your Content and Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the documents, text, images, and other materials that you upload or submit to the Service ("Your Content"), subject to any rights held by third parties.
You represent and warrant that you own Your Content or have obtained all rights, permissions, and authorizations necessary to upload, process, convert, reproduce, and use it through the Service.
By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive permission to access, process, transmit, and temporarily handle that content solely as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and maintain the requested Service, subject to our Privacy Policy.
This permission does not transfer ownership of Your Content to us and does not authorize us to sell or independently publish your material.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, and does not violate applicable laws.
7. Generated Files and Output Rights
Subject to your rights in the source material, applicable third-party rights, and any relevant third-party software or licensing restrictions, you may use the files generated by the Service for your personal or commercial projects.
The Service does not transfer ownership of third-party content, fonts, images, software, or other materials incorporated into a source document or generated output.
You are responsible for reviewing the output and ensuring that your intended use complies with applicable laws and the rights of others.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- Upload, process, or distribute content that is unlawful or infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Use the Service to distribute fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise prohibited material.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, or infrastructure.

- Reverse engineer, copy, modify, or redistribute protected parts of the Service except where expressly permitted by law or authorized by us.
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the Service itself without our prior written permission.
- Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law or these Terms.
9. Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its website design, branding, logos, software, interfaces, original documentation, and other proprietary elements, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms, no ownership or other intellectual property rights are transferred to you.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit our proprietary website materials or software without authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.
10. Service Availability and Modifications
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service from time to time for technical, operational, security, business, or legal reasons.
We aim to maintain reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Access may be affected by maintenance, network failures, third-party service interruptions, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice or other remedies in connection with material changes or interruptions.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not warrant that the Service will always be available, that all defects will be corrected, that every conversion will meet your requirements, or that generated files will be compatible with every ebook reader, device, application, or publishing platform.
You should retain copies of your original documents and independently verify important output before relying on it.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, guarantee, or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, or anticipated savings.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid directly to us for the Service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, or to the extent that applicable law requires a different result.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your material breach of these Terms, or your infringement of another person's rights.
This provision does not require you to indemnify us for losses caused by our own unlawful conduct or impose any obligation that is prohibited by applicable law.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, protect the security or integrity of the Service, comply with legal obligations, or address a material breach of these Terms.
Where appropriate and legally permissible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before terminating access.
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you wish to close your account or request deletion of personal information, please contact us or use the account features available to you. Any applicable retention obligations remain subject to our Privacy Policy and the law.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory legal protections that apply to you.
Subject to applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be submitted to the competent courts having jurisdiction at the location of our registered office.
Nothing in this section limits any consumer's right to bring a claim before a court or authority where applicable law grants that right.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, business practices, or legal obligations.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance only to the extent recognized under applicable law. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should discontinue using the affected Service.
17. General Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with the policies expressly referenced in them, govern your use of the Service, subject to any separate written agreement that applies to you.
