How eBook Creator works
Turn a manuscript into a properly formatted ebook in four simple steps. No design skills needed.
- Upload your document. Drag in a Word (.docx), PDF or text (.txt) file. It is read right in your browser and split into chapters automatically.
- Pick a template and details. Choose one of six designs, set your title, author and language, and see a live preview of how your own text will look.
- Read it instantly. Open the built-in reader to flip through chapters, change the text size and check everything before you download.
- Download your ebook. TXT export is free. For $10 per ebook you get an EPUB, a Markdown file and a print-ready PDF, all in the template you chose.
Tips for the best result
- Word files: use the built-in “Heading 1” style for chapter titles and we will turn each one into a chapter.
- PDF files: they must contain real text. Scanned pages (photos of paper) need OCR software first.
- Text files: save as UTF-8, and start chapters with a line such as “Chapter 1”.
- Cover and contents: add your own cover image in step 2, or we create one. A clickable table of contents is added to your ebook automatically.
- Languages: English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Arabic (right-to-left) and Japanese are supported.
